Low noise is more than a dB figure

Noise reaching an occupied space is a combination of motor sound, impeller noise, casing vibration and acoustic energy travelling through the duct. LINEO QUIET uses an acoustically treated casing around a mixed-flow fan concept to reduce fan noise transmitted to the room and ductwork.

Where does it make sense?

It is relevant to offices, meeting rooms, restaurants and other ducted spaces where acoustic comfort matters. Selection should consider required airflow, system pressure loss, operating speed and acceptable sound level together, not duct diameter alone.

LINEO versus LINEO QUIET

The standard LINEO range focuses on compact mixed-flow in-line ventilation, while LINEO QUIET adds an acoustically insulated casing. Where more advanced speed control and efficiency are required, EC-based LINEO QUIET ES variants can also be considered.

What information should be ready before selection?

Airflow, total pressure loss, duct size, installation position, speed-control requirement and acoustic expectations are the basic inputs. With these defined, the model can be selected around the real duty point rather than a generic “silent fan” label.
