Two temperature duties in one product family
HEATMASTER F400 combines continuous extraction of high-temperature air with emergency smoke-extract duty on a roof-fan platform. The key distinction is that 120°C continuous operation and an F400 fire classification are not the same requirement; both must be checked separately against the project specification.
Why roof installation changes the design priorities
The range uses a galvanized-steel support structure, an aluminium cowl shaped to reduce rain ingress and a backward-curved centrifugal impeller. For rooftop equipment, weather exposure, maintenance access and motor protection matter alongside aerodynamic performance.
Typical applications
Industrial kitchens, process exhaust and applications where hot air is discharged through the roof are typical examples. If the fan also serves smoke extraction, the certified temperature-time class and the project fire strategy must be verified.
Do not select on airflow alone
Airflow and pressure must be considered together with transported-air temperature, continuous versus emergency duty, electrical supply and certification requirements. With high-temperature fans, defining the duty correctly comes before choosing a model number.
