What does F300 mean?
F300 refers to a certified smoke-extraction duty at 300°C for a defined duration. The Vortice range includes F300 families designed for 2-hour duty.
What does F400 mean?
F400 identifies a higher temperature class. Vortice F400 families include certified solutions for 400°C / 2 h smoke-extraction duty.
A higher class is not automatically the right choice
The correct class depends on the fire scenario, project specification, local regulations, fan location and system design. Selecting a higher class without a project requirement may provide no practical benefit.
The duty point still matters
After the fire class is selected, airflow, pressure, motor and control details for normal and emergency operation must still be verified.
Let us select the right product for the project.
Compare the technical guidance with the product pages, then share airflow, pressure and application details so we can continue with selection and quotation.
