Start with the hazardous-area classification
Zone classification defines how frequently and for how long an explosive atmosphere may be present. The project Zone, gas or dust environment and required equipment category should be clear before fan selection begins.
Why gas group and temperature class matter
The gas group defines the explosive gas environments for which equipment is suitable, while the temperature class limits the maximum permitted surface temperature. The Ex marking must be read together with the project specification.
Performance calculation is still essential
ATEX compliance does not mean the airflow performance is correct. Required airflow, total pressure loss, duty point, motor power and control method must still be evaluated.
The Vensis approach
Vensis supports Vortice ATEX fan selection by evaluating technical performance and hazardous-area requirements together.
Let us select the right product for the project.
Compare the technical guidance with the product pages, then share airflow, pressure and application details so we can continue with selection and quotation.
